The 20’s Plenty for Us campaign is asking Parish and Town Councils nationwide to pass a motion to support the campaign for 20mph where people live, work and play.
In Essex we already have 3 villages where 20mph is the norm and 30mph the exception with our near neighbour Rowhedge being the first to adopt the policy in the county.
So do you want your Parish Council to vote to adopt 20mph on “ALL” , “SOME” or “NO” roads in Layer de la Haye? Have your say !
The Parish Council has created a very short 3 question survey that can be accessed by following the link below:-

This survey will close in 30 days time on 10th February so that the results can be collated and presented to the Parish Council before the next full meeting on 13th February 2023. The survey will also be available in paper form at the village shop from 11th January where it should be left once completed or a copy can be obtained by emailing the Parish Clerk on layerclerk@hotmail.com.
