Proposed Telecommunications Installation
A Planning Application Ref 212311 has been received by the Parish Council for a proposed telecommunications installation on wasteland at the junction of Old Forge Road and Wood Field End.
It states that a period of community consultation was initiated on 4th August 2021 and the Parish Council would like to know what contact / communication if any has been received by residents.
This installation is for a 16 meter high monopole supporting 6 no. antennas (3x5G & 3x4G) 2 no. transmission dishes, 4 no. equipment cabinets and associated development works ancillary thereto.The deadline for registering any comments is 16th September 2021 and the parish council welcomes the views of residents and would ask for these to be emailed to layerclerk@hotmail.com. In 2022, Her Majesty The Queen will become the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee, seventy years of service, having acceded to the throne on 6th February 1952 when Her Majesty was 25 years old. Throughout the year, Her Majesty and members of the Royal Family will travel around the country to undertake a variety of engagements to mark this historic occasion culminating with the focal point of the Platinum Jubilee Weekend, an extended bank holiday weekend from Thursday 2nd through to Sunday 5th June 2022.
The Parish Council is looking for volunteers to join this committee, to come with suggestions, to help research ideas and to be part of organising the parish event(s) over this extended bank holiday weekend.
